There are five members in our family and we live in Utajärvi between Oulu (60 km) and Kajaani (110km) in Finland. I have been interested in dogs my entire life. My first dog was a Greatdane “Meeri”. With Meeri, my main interest was dog show’s. Malamutes we have had since 2002. I joined the Finnish malamute club already in 1996, because I wanted to get familiar with the breed before buying dog. In September 2004, I have accomplished in Finnish kennel association's breeder's basic course and I have also a kennel name UtaMuutin. Now we have four dogs in home and one placed female. Our breeding is fairly small.
